Game Report: K-Town @ Heidelberg
The 2nd place K-Town Bears came to town on Sunday showing why they were leading the league in hitting. They crushed a flat Hedgehog team 12-5 knocking out 14 hits in the 1st game. Having not pitched since 16 May, Dave Cox was very rusty giving up 11 runs on 11 hits while pitching just 5 innings. Luis Gonzalez mopped up allowing 1 on 3 hits. Having not played a game since 5 June the Hedgehogs defense was very shaky, making 5 errors. The Hedgehogs did manage 12 hits of their own, but were not able to string them together. Luis “L’gone” Gonzalez hit his league leading 4th home run of the year in the bottom of the 7th, but it was too little too late.
Gamereport: Heidelberg @ Mainz
It was the Wright Day to be in Mainz on Saturday. Every time you looked up Robert Wright was standing on 2nd with a double. The Hedgehogs won both games but it could only be described as ugly. In the 1st game Simon Von Schwedler had difficulty finding the umpires strike zone.
Spielbericht: Tübingen @ Heidelberg
Die Heidelberg Hedgehogs sind zum zweiten Mal in drei Jahren im Halbfinale des BWBSV-Pokals. Ein Sieg gegen die Tübingen Hawks (13:07) am Donnerstag ebnete den Weg dorthin.

Damen 2 gewinnen in Stuttgart 20:00 nach drei Innings. Keine Hits auf Seiten der Reds und ein Grand Slam Homerun von Vanessa Zühlke rundeten das Spiel für Hedgehogs Damen perfekt ab.

It was another outstanding effort by the Heidelberg Hedgehogs in what was set to be the top match up in this weekend in the RLSW. The Hedgehogs ended up winning by scores of 12-2 and 14-1 as the Hedgehogs continued where they left off last weekend.
